Egypt, Japan to exchange friendship offices

The Japanese Chief of the international Egyptian-Japanese Friendship Organization has said that three offices of the organization will open in Japan and one in Cairo for boosting friendship ties.
This came during the Japanese organization chief's meeting on Wednesday with Mohammad El-Ghamrawi, the Chief of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI).
In press statements, Ghamrawi described relations between the two countries as historical, strong and flourishing.
Ghamrawi invited Japanese investors and businessmen to set up projects in Egypt. He added that investment projects enjoy a lifetime tax exemption when established in free zones, a 20-year exemption when set up in a new city or an industrial town.
During their visit, the Japanese delegation have conferred with senior Egyptian officials and businessmen.
