Gulf- European meeting discusses the Saudi initiative, fighting terrorism

The foreign ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and their European counterparts will discuss the deteriorating conditions in the Middle East and means of fighting terrorism. This will be during the ministerial meeting of the European Union and the Gulf Cooperation Council in Grenada in Spain on yesterday and today, according to European sources in Riyadh.
The sources added in statements made on Tuesday that the meeting will deal with, besides strengthening bilateral economic relations issues of mutual concern at the regional level, especially the situation in the Middle East and the world.
These issues, the sources added include issues on honoring human rights, the mass destruction weapons and terrorism. The secretary general of the Gulf Cooperation Council secretary General Jamil al-Hujeilan said that the GCC and the European Union will discuss during their meeting the initiative of the Saudi crown prince Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz.
