An Israeli spy network arrested in Lebanon

The intelligence directorate in the Lebanese army following a series of investigations announced the discovery and arrest of a network working for the interests of Israel.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, the Lebanese army leadership said that members of the network admitted working for the interests of the Israeli intelligence since 1993 until the present time.

The statement added that members of the network recruited persons to work for the interests of the Israeli intelligence and arranging meetings outside Lebanon with Israeli army officers and for that they received huge sums of money. The already arrested persons, involved in this case were brought before the specialized court in Lebanon.
