Yemen: An increase in oil byproducts

The Yemeni government is intending to execute the decision of increasing the price of oil and its byproducts during April.

According to Yemeni economic sources this will include the increase in oil byproducts prices by five riyals for every liter of Benzene so as the cost of each liter will be 30 Yemeni riyals and this increase will be compensated by canceling customs fees on transport means.

These sources indicated the "revenue collecting departments," including the customs establishment will be abrogated and converted into public administration affiliates to the ministry of finance.
