The Egyptian Prime Minister Atef Ebeid arrived in Abu Dhabi yesterday on a few days' visit to the United Arab Emirates.

Atef Ebeid said he would convey a message from President Hosni Mubarak to President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al-Nahyan on the current situation in the region adding that his visit comes within the framework of the permanent consultations and exchange of views between the two leaders.
UAE News agency (WAM) quoted Ebeid as having said that his visit to the UAE falls within President Mubarak's keenness on familiarizing Sheikh Zayed with the important developments and current proposals to settle issues in the region in light of his expected visit to Washington and his meeting with US President George W.
