Two Algerian pilgrims suffocated

Two Algerian pilgrims died as they were exposed to suffocation as a result of a fire that erupted in one of the buildings which is only one kilometer far apart from al-Haram al-Sharif.
The fire took place just few hours before the movement of the pilgrims from Mouna to Mecca.
According to the Saudi daily Okaz issued on Monday, the fire also resulted in wounding 13 persons including 8 members of the Saudi civil defense, one Saudi citizen and three Algerian women pilgrims.
Some 15 fire fighting groups participating in the process of fighting the fire and rescuing the besieged. Within 20 minutes the fire was controlled.
