Fischer welcomes the Saudi initiative

The German foreign minister Yushka Fischer on Sunday evening expressed his hope that the Arab summit which will be held by the end of March in Beirut will adopt the Saudi initiative which "recognizes Israel."
News reports quoted Fischer as saying during a discussion at the first channel of the German general TV, Fischer said that is this attitude will be the position of the majority of the Arab states, it will be then a strong signal towards Israel.
