Morocco, Netherlands Conclude Cultural Cooperation Convention

Morocco and the Netherlands signed end of last week a convention of partnership in fields of cultural policies.
The agreement was signed by Morocco's minister of culture and communication, Mohamed El Achaari, and Dutch state secretary for education, culture and sciences, Rick Van Der Ploeg, presently on a visit to Morocco.
The two countries undertook to promote cooperation in the fields of legacy, contemporary arts and cultural education and to support direct contacts between public and private institutions.
The Dutch official said he intends to promote cultural events for Moroccans settled in the Netherlands. Rick Van Der Ploeg has visited several cultural associations, and historical sites in Rabat, Meknes and Fez.
