UMA secretary general upbeat on Maghreb construction process

The new secretary general of the Arab Maghreb Union (UMA) Habib Boulares (Tunisia), said here Monday he is upbeat on the UMA construction process, upon arrival to take up his new office in the Moroccan capital, Rabat.
"I am taking up my office with great optimism at a time our institutions are resuming their activities and all heads of state have expressed will to enforce the Union agreements and materialize this great achievement," said Boulares who was named last month to replace Ahmed Amamou, another Tunisian.
The former minister of defense, of foreign affairs, of information and culture, and speaker of the Tunisian parliament also recalled that the latest UMA ministers council decided to start deep thinking on the UMA missions and structures.
