Kuwaiti information minister visits Egypt, Syria, Lebanon

Kuwaiti minister of information and acting oil minister Sheikh Ahmad al-Fahd al-Sabah is preparing for an Arab tour which will cover Egypt, Syria and Lebanon.
Kuwaiti diplomatic sources said it was decided that this tour was due to be made last week but the minister postponed it until after Eid al-Adha vacation because of his official ties and the engagements of the Arab officials with whom he will meet during his visit to each of Cairo, Damascus and Beirut.
Sheikh Ahmad al-Fahd will convey to the officials in the three countries messages from the Kuwaiti first deputy premier and foreign minister Sheikh Ahmad al-Fahd messages pertinent to several political conditions in the Arab region, prior to convening the second rotating Arab summit to be held in Beirut on March 27th besides consultations and exchanging view points regarding the development of events in the region and its latest developments, inter- Arab coordination and means of purifying Arab atmospheres.
The sources explained that the talks of the Kuwaiti minister with his Arab peers in the three Arab states will deal with means of supporting and strengthening media co-operation and exchange between Kuwait and each of Cairo, Damascus and Beirut.
He will also discuss means of increasing media cooperation in several issues of mutual concern for the service of common Arab objectives.
