Al-Mashaar praised Saudi initiative on Arab- Israeli conflict

The Jordanian foreign minister Marwan al-Mashaar has praised the initiative proposed by the Saudi crown prince Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz concerning the Arab- Israeli conflict.
In a statement to the London- based al-Hayat daily issued on Sunday, the Jordanian foreign minister said he had discussed with his French counterpart Hubert Vedrine in Paris, the said initiative, besides the question of Iraq and the Middle East crisis.
He added that the two sides agreed that the only outlet for the Iraqi regime is in Iraq's acceptance of the return back of the UN inspectors, otherwise the US will implement its threats to striking Iraq.
Al-Mashaar added that striking Iraq constitutes a grave consequences on the ME region as a whole. He said that there are fears that the Arab people will be affected to the largest extent and fears over partitioning Iraq.
