Algerian- American security cooperation

A delegation representing the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) is holding a work visit to Algeria since one week and is holding talks aiming at strengthening security cooperation between the two countries.
The Algerian daily al-Khaber said on Sunday quoting well-informed Algerian sources as saying that the American delegation discusses the exchange of information and coordination of security efforts between the two sides.
The sources added that the contacts of the said American delegation, visiting Algeria for the third time since December, 2001 include crystallization of a security cooperation draft agreement between Algeria and the USA.
