Hillary Clinton in a solidarity visit to Israel

Member of the US Senate Hillary Clinton has arrived in Jerusalem as a guest of honor to the conference of heads of officials of the American- Jewish organizations after she had arrived on Saturday evening in Jerusalem in a solidarity visit with Israel which would last for 24 hours.
The former US First Lady visited the tomb of the former Israeli prime minister Yitzhak Rabin who was assassinated by one of the Jews in 1995 in Tel Aviv.
Senator Clinton was to visit the Wailing Wall in the eastern part of Jerusalem besides meeting with the Israeli President Moshe Katsave, the prime minister Ariel Sharon, the foreign minister Shimon Peres and the chairman of Jerusalem's municipality Ehud Olmert.
Senator Clinton held the chairman of the Palestinian Authority PA Yasser Arafat responsible for the deterioration of the current conditions in the Palestinian territories. She said that Arafat did not do enough to put an end to what she called terrorism. In a statement quoted by the Israeli radio on Sunday during her current visit to Israeli Hillary called on the Americans to express their support and sympathy with Israel
