Bin Ali telephones Arafat
Tunisia-Palestine, Politics, 2/25/2002

Tunisian President Zein al-Abidin Bin Ali has renewed Tunisia's position in continued support for the Palestinian cause.

In a telephone call with the chairman of the Palestinian Authority Yasser Arafat on Sunday, Bin Ali expressed his deep concern over the grave Israeli aggressions which target the Palestinian people and their authority.

Bin Ali indicated Tunisia's relentless efforts at effective sides concerned in order to ensure the necessary protection for the Palestinian people and halting the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories and the inevitability of returning back to dialogue and negotiation in being the only way to establish a just peace in the region.
