UAE expels Afghans
United Arab Emirates-Afghanistan, Politics, 2/25/2002
The UN force in Afghanistan said that the United Arab Emirates UAE on Saturday expelled a group of Afghans considered as "persona non grata" and their plane is expected to reach at Kabul airport.
News reports quoted press controller at the UN force to help establishing security in Afghanistan ESAF, captain Graham Danlob as saying that the reason for expelling some of them might be attributed to the expiry of their visa.
The Captain explained that this matter is of concern to the provisional government in Afghanistan led by Hamid Karazai and the UAE.
