Al-Assad, Mubarak to meet very soon

The Lebanese daily al-Mustaqbal issued on Thursday quoted well-informed sources in Damascus as saying that the visit of President Bashar al-Assad to Egypt will be made after his return back from Italy and that the telephone call made between him and President Mubarak on Tuesday came in the context of coordination for this visit.
Worthy mentioning that Egyptian sources stated that Presidents al-Assad and Mubarak will be meeting shortly in Sharm el-Sheikh city to discuss current conditions in the region, especially in the occupied Palestinian territories and the international efforts to revive the negotiations in the Middle East.
