United Arab Emirates-Palestine, Politics, 2/21/2002

The United Arab Emirates UAE minister of state for foreign affairs Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed al-Nahyan stressed on Wednesday that the Arabs are serious in their search to attain peace according to international resolutions and the land for peace principle so as to guarantee the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as a capital.

In a statement he made on Wednesday in Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Hamdan called on the international community to move rapidly in order to put an end to the state- run organized terrorism conducted by Israel against the Palestinian people and the implementation of international legitimacy resolutions.
