Jamal Mubarak warns against striking Iraq

Member of the general secretariat of the Democratic National Party in Egypt Jamal Mubarak has warned against the consequences of directing a military strike by the US against Iraq, stressing that this will be not in the interests of anyone.
In statements issued on Wednesday Jamal Mubarak stressed that he is as an "Arab and Egyptian citizen that can not accept the principle that any side to give himself the opportunity, whatever the conditions, the right to change the regime in any Arab state by means of force, in addition to bombarding its territories outside the framework of UN resolutions or any international consensus."
He said that Egypt sees, through its contacts with Washington, to have there a greater American role in the political settlement in the Middle East and that it would be better to interfere due to is vital interests in the region in an early phase not when it is too late.
