Five Yemenis arrested for suspicion, FBI list

Yemeni security officials stressed on Wednesday that the Yemeni authorities arrested five persons suspected to be involved with a person whose name is mentioned in the list declared by the FBI recently.

News reports quoted Yemeni officials as saying that the five Yemenis have links to Yahya al-Rubei who is one of the 17 persons whose names were mentioned in a list announced by the FBI bureau last week during which it warned against carrying out possible attacks against the US or the American interests in Yemen.

The Yemeni officials added that al-Rubei is involved in carrying out two explosions in two hotels in Aden in 1992.
