Some 23 Israeli violations of Lebanese sovereignty on February 12 and 18

The Lebanese national resistance has announced that the Israeli occupation forces violated the Lebanese sovereignty on February 12 and 18 for 23 times.

In a statement, the Lebanese resistance said that the air violations reached 8 while 13 sea violations were registered.

The Israeli forces continued its violations and aggressions against the Lebanese territories at a time when the UN forces denied withdrawals of its forces near the international borders.

Lebanese security sources said that in a remarkable incident, the Israeli forces opened the fire of its heavy machine guns from its positions in Shebaa farms at a Lebanese sedan car carrying three farmers to the southern east of Kafer Shouba while they were inspecting their agricultural lands.

The Israeli forces opened its heavy machine guns from al-Ramtha position at Bastara farm.

The spokesman for UNIFIL Timor Goksul denied the closure of any center for the UN forces in al-Odeisah and al-Khayyam areas.

In a statement, Goksil said that the UN forces will keep its positions on the Lebanese sides from the border without any change.

He indicated that the UN forces positioned in the hills of Kafer Shouba have reinforces their fortifications in the positions overlooking Burket Baatheil, especially as these areas go always under the fire of the israeli forces.
