Morocco, Canada review cooperation

Relations between Morocco and Canada and Morocco's role in Africa were the topic of a meeting held Tuesday between Canada's secretary of state for Latin America, Africa and Francophony and Denis Paradis and Morocco's minister of transport and merchant navy, Abdeslam Znined.

The meeting took place on the fringes of the meeting of the International organization of civil aviation, held in Canada this Feb.19-20.

The two men renewed the two governments' shared will to further develop bilateral ties.

The Canadian official said his government is very interested in the ongoing evolution of Morocco and hailed the Kingdom's political stability and consolidation of the rule of law.

Znined is heading a delegation to the conference that is meeting to launch an assessment plan of civil aviation.
