Six Israeli soldiers killed in a palestinian attack

Palestinian resistance-men killed six Israeli soldiers and wounded others in an attack at an occupation army checkpoint in the West Bank.

The night-time shooting took place at Ein Ariq northwest of the Palestinian-ruled city of Ramallah.

The Israeli military sources said at least four Israelis were dead and another three wounded.

Meanwhile in Gaza, an Israeli air strike killed two Palestinian people and wounded several school children, raising the death toll to 15 in one of the worst outbreak of nearly 17 months of Israeli state terror policy.

Palestinian security sources said five Palestinians were killed in the Gaza overnight and two in an Israeli raid on the edge of Nablus in the West Bank.

The suicide bomber killed an Israeli policeman when he detonated his explosives beside his car and the attack by Palestinian activists on a convoy on the Gaza afterwards killed an Israeli settler and two soldiers.

Israeli warplanes fired at security buildings in Ramallah and the Rafah refugee camp.

Occupation troops also shot dead two Palestinians, near Jewish settlements in southern Gaza overnight.

Israeli soldiers also killed two Palestinians and wounded nine during a gunfight early on Tuesday when soldiers tried to enter a refugee camp on the edge of Nablus, hospital officials said.

Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces demolished several Palestinian houses and buildings, and their bulldozers devastated more lands and trees along the road adjacent to Kosfin crossing in the Gaza Strip.

In reply to this, a Palestinian youth carried out a martyrdom operation against a bus transporting Israeli settlers at the entrance of the Mihola settlement in the West Bank.

Israel Radio said that the Palestinian was unable to get in the bus, so he blasted himself outside it. It claimed no casualties.

In the meantime, an Israeli car was exposed to shooting to the north of Yabud village in the Jenin area. Palestinians opened fire at a Jewish district from their Abu Sneina district in Hebron.

Also, nine Palestinians were shot on Tuesday in the continued Israeli aggression against the Palestinians while other tens were wounded.

The Israeli F-16 warplanes bombarded the cities of Ramullah and Rafah Leaving behind heavy casualties and destruction of properties.

The Israeli forces destroyed more than 20 Palestinian houses in a populated area near Kisvon cross-road in Gaza.

Meantime, Israeli tanks, backed by helicopters incurred in several Palestinians areas in Jabalia camp, Khan Younis and Deir al-Balah and closed all cross- roads leading to the Palestinian cities, while another Israeli force broke into Housan village near Bethlehem in the West bank.

Violent clashes took place between the invading forces and the Palestinian citizens resulted in killing several Palestinians and wounding many others as well as arresting others. Five Israeli soldiers were wounded during the confrontation.

The killed Palestinians are Mariam al-Bahaeysah (36year old), her daughter Mouna Sami al-Bahaeysah ( 14 year old) and Abdul Wahhab al-Najjar ( 19 year old) in Khan Younis from one family. Six persons were wounded from the same family besides many others among shot or wounded.

Palestinian security sources and eye- witnesses said the Israeli warplanes bombarded on Tuesday at dawn headquarters for the Palestinian security departments in Rafah to the south of Gaza and this resulted in destroying the Palestinian security complex at Rafah camp.

The sources explained that F-16 planes fired several missiles at the headquarters of the Palestinian police in al-Teria quarters in Ramullah and at the headquarters of the military intelligence and the headquarters of force 17.

The new Israeli bombardment falls in the course of the aggressive policy pursued by the Israeli authorities against the Palestinians, and the destruction of the Palestinian infrastructure and the PA headquarters.
