Somalia: 15 persons killed in battles between government supporters and opposers

Eye- witnesses aid that battles took place on Monday morning between groups opposing or supporting the Somali provisional government in the city of Bardira to the southern part of the country resulted in killing 15 persons and some other 40 were wounded.
The source said that the clashes which ended later in the day in this city which is situated, 450 Km to the West of Makadishu, belong to the Somali council for reforms and reconciliation. It is a coalition includes opposition war lords and between forces supporting the Somali provisional government.
On the other hand, the UN said that it evacuated UN employees from Bardira as a protective measure following the eruption of the clashes.
