New facts in Lockerbie incident

The director of the Sudanese legal reforms and training institutes Awad al-Hassan al-Nour has disclosed new facts emerged in the Lockerbie case, noting that these facts might change the course of the case.
In a statement issues on Sunday by the Sudanese al-Anbaa paper after he returned back from Holland after his participation in the Lockerbie case as an observer, al-Nour said that the court listened to three of the accusation witnesses and two of the defendant witnesses and that the defendant has used new facts through the testimony of one of the witnesses that a break took place in the gate conducive to the area banned in the airport and bags were brought through this opening and put in the luggage containers from which the bomb explosion took place in the plane.
Al-Nour considered that the defendant considered this testimony as a strong evidence that serves the case, noting that the court after listening to the defendant and the accusation witnesses had closed the file of the case for a final decision.
