Clashes in Yemen between gunmen and police

Six persons were wounded in Yemen including an officer in the Yemeni police in an armed clash that took place in the downtown of the capital Sanaa on Saturday between the police forces and a gang for steeling cars.
News reports quoted a Yemeni official source as saying that fire was exchanged between the police and members of the gang in a main crossroad resulted in wounding six persons while members of the gang succeeded in escaping towards Omran city.
The source added that police reinforcement were sent to chase members of the gang.
