Palestinian Intifada retaliates Israel's attacks

Two Palestinians were shot on Sunday near an Israeli military base in al-Khumeira town to the north of Israel.
Meantime, an explosive went off when an Israeli military vehicle was running near Nablus and the Palestinian Intifada youths fired mortars shells of "Qassam 1" on Israeli military base to the north of Gaza and at an Israeli settlement in the territories of 1948.
On Monday at dawn Israeli Apache F-16 planes bombarded by missiles the city of Nablus and the shells destroyed tens of houses including the headquarters of the Palestinian police in the city and offices of the People's Front For the Liberation of Palestine and a building for the chairman of the Palestinian Authority Yasser Arafat.
Meanwhile, once again, the Israeli tanks incurred in Ramullah and strong clashes took place during which the Palestinians defended their lands. This operation coincided with large scale detention acts carried out by the Israeli invading forces in al-Sharayet quarters near Ramullah. One of the detainees was Hammoud al-Tureifi, one of the escorts of Marwan al-Narghouthi the secretary of the Fatah movement.
The Israeli forces also broke into Maghna village near Nablus and carried out inspection and breaking in operations of its houses under the pretext of searching for wanted. The Israeli forces also imposed tightened siege at Hawarah town of Nablus district and installed a permanent camp near Tammoun village of pre- fabricated houses as a base for a new settlement inside the Palestinian Authority area.
In Ghaza, the Palestinian youth Lutfi Saqer ( 25 year old) was shot dead during the confrontation that took place in al-Breij camp, while another Israeli force also incurred into east Jabalia, and this resulted in demolishing several Palestinian houses and a Palestinian security.
Meanwhile, Israeli sources admitted that voices calling the Israeli government of Ariel Sharon to pullout from the Palestinian territories and to put an end to occupation have been increased.
The BBC correspondent quoted a secret report published by specialists at the Israeli military intelligence which said that the process of liquidation of Palestinians is null, Rather such liquidation acts increase the persistence and determination of the Palestinians to continue their Intifada.
Moreover, Israeli sources said that the Israelis ask their government, to change its policy at a time a number of reserve army officers and soldiers increased in their rejection to serve in the occupied territories in protest of the policy pursued by Sharon.
In the same context, the former Israeli army chief of staff Amnoun Shahak admitted the failure of the military solution in the occupied Arab territories. He stressed that this policy has made things more complicated and froze the international efforts while Youssef Labid, the chairman of Shenwe bloc at the Israeli Knesset expressed his regret over the policy pursued by Sharon against the Palestinians.
