Iran and Iraq to launch joint search operation for their MiAs

An Iranian military official supervising the exchange of corpses of 75 Iranians with the bodies of 59 Iraqis, said "that a joint Iranian-Iraqi search committee will start looking for the remains of the two countries' MiAs in near future," IRNA reported.
The joint operation will be launched in Iran's Meymak and Iraq's Mandali region, and that the search operations for finding the MiAs bodies in Fili, Al Imara, Zeyd and Shalamcheh axis "have been accelerated during the recent months," the report said.
The official said that "ever since the beginning of the exchange program of the Iranian and Iraqi MiAs bodies, Iran has received the corpses of 3,998 martyrs and delivered those of 5,323 Iraqi soldiers to that country's officials," IRNA reported today.
