Foreign investments in Toshka more than 50%

Egyptian Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation Mahmoud Abu Zeid said that Foreign Investments in Toshka project are more than 50% of the project's total investment.

Abu Zeid highlighted that there are investors from U.S., Australia besides Italian businessmen who visited the area, got acquainted with its potentialities and welcomed the investment of their funds in the project.

The Minister added that 83% of the project has been carried out.

On the other hand, Abu Zeid will visit tomorrow the national project for developing Sinai which aims at cultivating 400.000 feddans on the water of Al-Salam canal in Sinai.

During his visit, Abu Zeid will inspect the rates of execution in the canal.
