An Israeli satelite station aimed at Arab audience

The Jordanian weekly al-Shahed ( the witness) said on Wednesday that an Israeli satellite station broadcasting in Arabic will start as from March and its presenters will be anchors from Jordan, Palestine, Lebanon and Egypt.
In an exclusive report, the paper said that this satellite station will be the first chapter of challenges with Israel in the media between it and the Arabs. The paper said that the Arabs who work in this station are three Palestinians, one Jordanian, one Lebanese and two Egyptians and all of them had escaped to Israel besides other 4 anchors of the Arabs of the Palestinian territories of 1948.
Al-Shahed explained that those who run this station have recently signed an agreement with a renowned space channel including screening of certain programs from this channel on the Israeli station. The paper indicated that this channel will broadcast via the Israeli satellite Ammouwas and the European satellite besides its "land" broadcast inside Israel, which means the possibility to watch it without a satelite dish in all the Arab states surrounding Israel.
Sources told the paper that the Israeli channel will broadcast documentary films from the archive including programs about minorities in the Arab states like the Maronite, the Kurds, the Druz and the Copts.. etc.
The sources stressed that the aim of these program is to distort the image of the Arab states and to introduce them as subjugating and repressing minorities. This channel will also draw the map of the Arab- Zionist conflict in a way that complies and serves the "Zionist racism."
