French party official for sahara large autonomy under Moroccan kingty

First secretary of the French socialist party (PS), Fran�ois Hollande, said he was for a large autonomy of the Saharan provinces, part of Moroccan sovereignty.

Hollande made the statement at a meeting with the association "Trait d'Union Maroc-Europe," chaired by painter Mehdi Qotbi.

The French PS chief voiced satisfaction over Moroccan-French relations that are marked more than ever before, by trust, he said, adding that these relations were deeply consolidated.

Hollande also spoke of the French's attachment to Morocco, a country, he said, where democracy is preserved.

"Trait d'Union Maroc-Europe" is initiating a series of meetings with French political leaders.
