Islamic scientific meeting in Islamabad

A meeting of the Islamic Permanent Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation, is due Feb. 16-18 in Islamabad, Pakistan.
Chaired by Pakistan, the Committee was set up in 1981 by the Organization of Islamic Conference during a summit in Meccah, Saudi Arabia.
It acts on various scientific and technological fields: agriculture, food, health, research and development, new information technologies and others.
