Sudanese- Ethiopian talks

Ethiopian and Sudanese officials started meetings in Addis Ababa dedicated to discuss issues relating to the implementation of bilateral agreements in the areas of security, defense and customs, according to statements made by the two countries sources.
The Ethiopian minister for federal affairs Abai Tseihay said before the Sudanese delegation which is chaired by the minister of the interior Abdul Rahim Muhammad Hussein that the existence of "a typical coordination between our two countries is of a special significance not only for our two peoples but also for the region ( African) as a whole which is divided by conflicts and suffers instability."
In his speech, the Ethiopian minister stressed: "I urge the two sides to frankly involve in issues of mutual concern with the aim to contribute to the establishment of peace and stability on the region."
The two delegations held close door session on the ground of areas of various cooperation.
The Sudanese delegation arrived on Monday in Addis Ababa to hold talks with the Ethiopian authorities. Immediately upon his arrival, the Sudanese minister Muhammad Hussein met with the Ethiopian prime minister Meles Zenawi.
