Some 5,000 Syrian saplings to the Jordanian university

The Jordanian state run Hashimite university on Wednesday celebrated the arbor day and on this occasion some 5,000 saplings of pistachio and other kinds of fruit trees were planted, offered as a present by the Syrian ministry of agriculture.
The celebration was attended by the Syrian ambassador in Jordan Abdul Fattah Ammoura, the Dean of the university Anwar al-Bateikhi and officials concerned.
On the sideline of the celebration the Syrian ambassador opened the first agricultural exhibition at the university including pictures and types of plants and saplings and products of olive and palm trees produced by the Hashimite university.
