Football: Morocco hosts L.G cup

Morocco will host next March 1-3 the 7th edition of the L.G Cup, organizers announced on Tuesday.
The Moroccan Olympic (Under 23) team will vie for the trophy alongside Iran and Algeria. A fourth team will be Saudi Arabia or Venezuela.
The US$ 80,000 cup is sponsored by the Korean leading L.G electronics group.
The winner team will get $ 50,000 while the finalist will obtain $ 30,000.
Morocco had hosted the second edition of the cup in 1999 and lost in the final to France.
The sixth edition was hosted and won by Iran.
