Demands for seats for women at the Jordanian parliament

The Jordanian national committee for women affairs has called for having a certain percentage of seats at the parliament for women in order to enable women to participate in the parliament to enable them to improve the conditions of Jordanian woman and adopt her issues.
The committee explained that allocating a share for women at the parliament will not be permanent, rather temporarily and the aim is to get people acquainted with having women at the parliament. A matter which avails women to compete in the elections in a later phase.
