A high ranking Egyptian delegation to Washington

A high ranking Egyptian delegation will head within the few coming days to Washington to hold talks on the deteriorated conditions in the Middle East with each of the US secretary of state Colin Powell and with President Bush's National Security Advisor Condoleezza Rice, the US ME peace envoy William Burns and the CIA chief George Tenet.
Egyptian political sources said the Egyptian delegation which will include the advisor for the Egyptian President for political affairs Osama al-Baz, the president's secretary for information Majed Abdul Fattah and the chairman of the Egyptian intelligence Omar Suleiman will concentrate its talks on two pillars: the first is the developments of conditions in the ME peace process and the Egyptian- American efforts to resume the peace negotiations on the Palestinian and Syrian tracks.
The second pillar includes the talks of the Egyptian delegation in Washington on what have been stated on the possibility of directing a blow to Iraq very soon in order to topple the regime, a matter which is opposed by Egypt.
