In the context of current preparations to convene the Arab summit in Beirut, a work meeting was held in Beirut on February 20 for the diplomatic, security, media, administration and protocol teams, called upon by the Lebanese minister of culture Ghassan Salamah, who is assigned by the Lebanese government to prepare for the summit. The meeting aims at putting the final touches on organizational arrangements and to materialize them.

The sources disclosed that the secretary general of the Arab League Amr Moussa will return back to Beirut by the beginning of March with the aim to draw the final touches on the agenda of the summit and to contain consultation with the Lebanese officials on all organizational matters and the security measures to protect Arab leaders and delegations.
