Turkish businessmen to set up free industrial zone in Egypt

A Turkisk delegation of senior industrialists agreed with the Egyptian side on setting up an industrial zone on one million square metres, according to a cabinet source yesterday.
The source said the Turkish side will invest $100 million in Egypt in 2002.
"The delegation expressed rediness, during a meeting with Prime Minister Atef Ebeid to increase the volume of trade exchange.
A Turkish company requested setting up a series of natural gas stations in Egypt with investments of $ one million as a start,added the official source
The delegation groups 25 chairmen of Turkish companies working in the construction, building materials, furniture, mineral water, leather, elevators ad electrical equipment.
