Five inmates flee Kenitra prison

Five prisoners, convicted to heavy terms of 21 to 30 years prison sentences, fled on Sunday the Kenitra prison after breaking the metal wire mesh of their cell.
According to a source at the prison, three of the fugitives were serving a 30-year prison term for murder and the two others were sentenced respectively to 21 and 25 years in jail for constitution of gangs, burglary and kidnapping.
The prisoners took advantage of the heavy fog to climb the prison wall using a rope they made of bags fibers.
