Moussa confers with US ambassador in Cairo

The secretary general of the Arab League (AL) Amr Moussa on Monday in Cairo discussed with the American ambassador in Cairo David Walsh latest developments in the Middle East region under the continued policy of grave escalation pursued by Israel against the Palestinian people as well as several developments on the regional and international levels.

In a statement following the meeting, Walsh stressed the US appreciation to the role played by the AL, noting his care to meet regularly with the AL secretary general to hold consultations and exchange views on several issues of mutual concern between the Arab States and the US.
