Israeli president holds Arafat responsible for firing al- Qassam missiles

The Israeli President Moshe Katsav held the chairman of the Palestinian Authority Yasser Arafat totally responsible for launching al- Qassam missiles from the Palestinian territories at the Israeli forces stationed in the Palestinian areas, ignoring, simultaneously, the policy of killing and destruction pursued by the government of Sharon against the unarmed Palestinians.
The Israeli President called on Arafat to foil what he described as "attacks," noting that Qassam missiles are very grave and constitute a new dangers on Israel, as he claimed.
