Pascal Lamy in Amman

The Jordanian viceroy prince Faisal Bin al-Hussein on Sunday in Amman discussed with the European Union EU commissioner for trade Pascal Lamy Jordanian- European relations in light of the Jordanian- European partnership agreement in all economic fields.
Prince Faisal underlined the importance of this agreement for Jordan especially in regard to increasing the European investments and opening the European markets before the Jordanian exports.
Lamy, for his part announced the EU support for the Jordanian economy and Jordan's inclinations to agree with the Arab states in embarking on the "certificate of origin" program. A process which contributes to increasing Arab exports to the European markets.
