Al-Shara confers with Yemeni counterpart

The Syrian deputy premier and foreign minister Farouk al-Shara on Sunday received the Yemeni foreign minister Abu Baker al-Qurabi and members of the accompanying delegation. Discussions dealt with developments of conditions in the region and the "sufferings of the Palestinians as a result of the state- run policy conducted by Israel in the Palestinian territories." View points were identical to finding out an effective Arab position in challenge of current challenges.
The meeting was attended by the Deputy foreign minister Suleiman Haddad and high ranking foreign ministry officials and the Yemeni charge de affairs in Damascus.
Discussions also covered bilateral relations between Syria and Yemen and means of strengthening them in all fields.
