Al-Shara confers with Russian official

The Syrian deputy premier and foreign minister Farouk al-Shara on Sunday in Damascus received the Russian deputy foreign minister Sergy Nekedza, who handed al-Shara a message from the foreign minister of the Republic of Russia Igor Ivanov.
The meeting was attended by the deputy foreign minister Walid al-Muaallim and the Russian ambassador in Damascus.
Discussions dealt with the developments of regional and international developments and the importance of coordination and consultations between Syria and Russia in all arenas especially at the UN Security Council in order to finding out an objective and just vision to problems the world suffer from so as to enhance the role of the UN to carry out assigned tasks.
Discussions also dealt with relations between the two friendly countries Syria and Russia and means of strengthening them in all fields.
