Commander of Armed Islamic Group assassinated in Algeria

The commander of the Armed Islamic Group in Algeria Antar al-Zawabri on Friday was killed by the Algerian security forces in Boufark to the south of the capital Algiers.
Algerian security source said that al-Zawabri who has been leading the armed group since 1996, was killed on Friday with other two members of his group at a house near the city's playground which he was using as a shelter.
The Algerian source indicated that the Algerian security sources found at the house weapons and documents that belong to al-Zawabri and his group.
