Israeli forces broke into Abu Deis
Palestine-Israel, Politics, 2/8/2002
The Israeli Apache helicopters on Thursday night bombarded Nablus just three hours of Israeli forces breaking into Abu Deis town near Jerusalem and imposition of a curfew on Karoun village near Toulkarem.
While Israeli settlers in Safad circulated racist publications calling for the expulsion of the Palestinians from their houses and territories, the European Parliament called for the foundation of a Palestinian state because this is considered as an important step to find out a solution to the conflict in the region and to restore back its security.
A Palestinian source said the Israeli bombardment targeted a center for the Palestinian military intelligence and the surrounding of the governorate headquarters of Nablus.
