Kuwait: German forces to arrive to inspect mass annihilation weapons

The Kuwaiti defense minister on Thursday stressed the arrival of specialized German units in monitoring nuclear and chemical weapons shortly into Kuwait to hold training with American forces.

The Kuwaiti minister Sheikh Jaber Mubarak al-Sabah said that "arrangements have been approved to conduct joint exercises in which these " German" forces will take part. These forces will stay in Kuwait for one month.

On Wednesday, the spokesman for the German defense ministry said that the German army will send 250 troopers of the specialized unit in monitoring nuclear and chemical weapons in the Gulf area in the framework of the campaign to fighting terrorism.

Meantime, an official source said that an oil establishment in al- Sabereyah area to the north of Kuwait has restored activities on Thursday as the electricity current supplies was cut because of an explosion in it that destroyed a center for collecting oil in the same area on January 31st.
