Libya, Denmark to found economic forum

The general federation of the chambers of commerce, industry and agriculture in Libya and the Danish economic forum have signed an agreement to strengthen bilateral cooperation. This agreement states to found a Libyan- Danish economic forum including businessmen and experts in the economic, trade, industrial, services, tourism and financial areas.

The agreement which was signed in Tripoli on Wednesday by the directors general of the Libyan chambers of commerce, industry and agriculture and the Danish chairman of the economic forum states to strengthen economic relations with the European Union and to eliminate barriers and restrictions impeding economic progress.

The agreement also states to exchange economic and statistical information as well as to organize the visits of trade and economic delegations, to convene study seminars and training courses and maintain direct contacts to exchange knowledge in the economic, financial and industrial fields, backing the holding of trade, industrial and agricultural exhibitions and encouraging scientific researches.
