Saudi- Iranian environmental cooperation
Saudi Arabia-Iran, Environment, 2/7/2002
Iran and Saudi Arabia on Wednesday signed in Tehran a memorandum of understanding in cooperation in the field of the environment, stating to strengthen relations and exchange expertise in the field of preserving the environment and eliminating environment pollution in the region.
The memorandum was signed by the deputy chairperson of the Iranian President and head of the Environment protection organization Ma'souma Ibtikar and the Saudi minister of commerce Osama Jaafar al-Faqih.
