The greatest educational city in ME

Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak inaugurated today morning 'Mubarak Educational City' which constitutes the largest of its kind in the Arab world and the Middle East so far.
H. K. Bahaa Eddin, the minister of education affirmed that that city, sited in the 6th of October City, hosts an IT center, technological key center for development and training, to serve all activities of educational technologies in Egypt.
The complex involves a huge building comprising a conference hall of 1600 seats provided with all kinds of necessary modern services. It also holds an extensive library for books and tapes, electronic sets as well as a big exhibition hall. There is a workshop for educational model means, a hall for physics, another for environment plus a hall for production of educational programs.
The city has a great hotel with a capacity of one thousand trainees to stay in. Another building is set for storing about 29 million books. Besides, it is expected that the wide halls there will be used by hundreds of teachers to correct exam papers of the general secondary stage certificates.
